Art is just.........ugh. Other than that he's a good non-unique thunder shugenja with a relevant battle action. He's also got good force and chi for 7 gold. I can see TDB liking this guy.

Pretty damn good Thunder Shug. Wish that they'd flip the Force & Chi (really what's so wrong with tossing standard military stats on shugenja personalities?). But the RA 4 is quite welcome.

Super-shitty art though.

I don't think IG3 will be legal for GenCon, it would have to be released by the 6th of July in order to make that happen.

I can't find a release date online. If they keep releasing 2 cards a day, looks like they'll have 13-14 more days of previews. So IG3 might not come out until after July 10th.

OMG!!! I made a wishful hope that we get a Yoritomo Shugenja in jest... I cant believe I got what I wanted...

Probably the glaring thing about him for a thunder deck would be the lack of naval, but with the existence of Thunder's Blessing, this guy is pretty workable.

They didn't change the color--I think it's the ronin shugenja art. Combine that with his text, and he's a former ronin whose joined the clan (accounting for the Yoritomo/shugenja combo).

In all honesty - he's not bad, I wish he was naval (obviously), but ranged 4 outta TDB (with +1F) is not a bad move.

And yeah - that is some...unique...art.

In truth, his art is bad. But I like it better than some other Mantis art this edition *cough*Takiko!*cough* . It's funny, almost. He's a carpet salesman!

Good non-unique personality.
Replaces the boxable blank shugenja for thunder shugenja.

Ranged 4 thunder with good stats is pretty durn good, especially with free spell to be naval.

I approve, except for the art.
Though it's so bad... it's growing on me already.
Especially in combo with it's flavor text that is roughly -
I ain't had no learning, but the Thunder Dragon spoke to me; so me and you is equals - deal with it.

Well, yeah, the art... I think what makes it look so bad is that it got all the basic colors except purple and all were painted "straight from the tube." Editing (by Photoshop etc.) his headband to be the same or darker green as his kimono, his straw cape to be a yellow-brown as what straw should be (not orange), and the carpet to be either in a shade of brown or green to match would already have done wonders to the art.

Hmmm. Red, orange, yellow, green, and blue... that's FIVE colors and there are FIVE rings. Wink

This quy is for Enlightenment: we now have 3 sets of non-unique shugenjas with 4 Chi, all of them Thunder, to smoothly run Master the Body.
