Special EaW previews

On AEG they are making "special" previews as part of the EaW set.

The first one is Daigotsu Shaiku (the former Tamori Shaiku)

Hmmm . . . does this mean we'll see Chipmunk Cheeks return on the other side? She also died in the Shadowlands going with the Seppun after Kyoso.

Look, it's a cross clan experienced personality.

I do believe the last grounds for resistance to Tsuruchi (ne Kuni) Jiyuna have been weakened. The wards are filing....

Sigh, I really loved Shaiko despite not being thrilled with the graphic novel as a whole. But I knew this was comming, or rather I felt certain of it. I'm glad to hear mention of what happened to the people who seemed to just get left behind at the end of the book even if this is the result (that was just really weird to me when reading it. It was just so .... boldly missing when I read it. An explination as to what happened to them I mean. And what happened to the newly reborn Kyoso for that matter?). This version is easily superior than her last (if only for Spider), she sure got buff and I like that while the obvious rout is going to be to kill a 2/2 zombie, you can still pop her herself if you want to. Wish her action made her more tempting to run out of a Dragon deck since corruption should be tempting. Her numbers and keywords are good, but 8g for pretty much no action seems pricey.

Yeah, it was weird, since Shaiko just... disappeared at the end. No body or anything... and Tashime specifically mentioned that they'd burn the dead.

I was figuring she wasn't who she said she was, and pulled some ninja-shenannigans to get out of dodge.

Originally I thought she was being deceptive as well, but now that I see her xp version I think that was just her being a mysterious Dragon. I get the distinct impression that something changed between then and now. I mean, yeah, there is the death thing, that tends to change most people i know, but it's something in her flavor text.

Well we had seven personalities previewed, so probably no "special" for us.

But then, we already got some very very strikingly good cards. "Mantis - Between the Tsuruchi and the Kitsune it's pretty clear Rokugan has elves."

Though, on that note: ARE there any Kitsune left? Three sets in a row without the foxes making an appearance. Here's hoping they didn't all die somehow.
